T-mobile myTouch 3G

I’ve had the T-Mobile G1 since last November and really love being uber-connected. With rumors of a new phone coming early this summer I wonder if changing to something a bit more stylish is a good idea.
The only complaint I have about the G1 is it isn’t what you would call pretty. The “rumored G2”:http://www.tmotoday.com/content/ground-zero/blog-posts-and-discussion/mytouch-3g-photos myTouch 3G (pictured) certainly looks nicer but is it worth losing the qwerty keyboard.
With all my friends having iPhones and touting the beautiful design I wouldn’t mind showing them that Android can look good also.
Which do you think is more important? The physical keyboard or the slim good looking design?
