New 3G Coverage via T-Mobile

This past weekend I noticed that my T-Mobile G1 began showing a 3G connection in Marina and Monterey even though the T-Mobile Coverage Map still only shows EDGE available in the area.

According to My3G Speed my connecting is downloading 2.67 mbps [2672 kbps | 334 kBps] from my house in Marina. A great improvement over the 0.58 mbps [576 kbps | 72 kBps] speed I was getting via EDGE.
